International study trip to Helsinki

Last year we announced that YPP was working on international partnerships with other young procurement networks. We are happy to share with you that we have been invited by the LOGY Young Professionals to join their yearly event in Helsinki this year. After the success of the study trip to Copenhagen in 2014 the invitation of Logy is a great opportunity to organise a study trip to Helsinki this year.

Why join?

We have put together an exciting 4 day program where we will:

• Work on a challenging case during the Logy event with an international group of young professionals
• Visit 2 exiting companies to learn about their procurement best practices and challenges
• Participate in the Logy forum on procurement competences and education
• Build your network during dinner and drinks with the Logy young professionals
• Explore Helsinki

10:00  Company visit Paulig

Paulig is the market leader in Finland and the Baltic countries in roasted coffee. The focus of the company visit is sustainability in procurement the Paulig view. Procurement of coffee beans from developing countries. The visit includes a factory tour.

Fiskars is an international company with a long history dating back to 1649 and is currently on of the largest manufacturers of kitchenware. Fiskars is owning famous brands like Arabia, Iittala and Fiskars.

Who: A group of 13 enthusiast young procurement professionals who are eager to get the most out of a 4 day trip and are willing to share their knowledge and experience.

Price: The costs for the study trip are € 425 per participant (excluding VAT).

These costs are to cover accommodation, events, transportation from and to events in Helsinki, meals and drinks. The accommodation that will be provided is based on 2 participants per hotel room. It is possible to request an one person room. Please contact us for more information.

Travel to and from Helsinki is not included in this fee and you need to make your own travel arrangements for that.

Please be aware that the number of participants for the study trip is limited to 13 participants and that some requirements apply:

• You are currently working as a procurement professional
• You are fluently in English
• The maximum age for participants is 35 years
