Suvi Julkunen

Suvi holds a Bachelor’s degree in International Business and a Master’s in Purchasing and Supply Management.

After her Bachelor’s, Suvi started her career in logistics, more specifically freight forwarding.  This career path gave her a wide perspective of the international markets, yet still she was still longing for the procurement side of business.  This led the decision to go back to studying. Suvi started her Master’s in Lappeenranta, Finland, where she got the opportunity to come to the Netherlands to do a double degree with the University of Twente.

Once her studies were finalised,  Suvi joined a collaborative Procurement Talent Program traineeship with Rabobank and Nevi. Now Suvi works as a Global Process Excellence Officer, focusing on building a global way of working for procurement at Rabobank.

Suvi’s goal in YPP is to organise insightful events, where young procurement professionals can learn more about procurement in diverse industries, and find the most suitable path in procurement for them.

Simone Pardoel

Simone holds a Bachelors degree in Business Administration and started her professional career as a Buyer for Essent taking care of multiple indirect procurement categories. After the acquisition of Essent by E.ON, she became an International Category Manager for commercial services. Lateron she joined TenneT TSO as a Category Manager for electrical components for High Voltage Overhead Lines. She enjoys building long term procurement strategies and simplifying procurement processes to contribute to a company’s success.

As a YPP Board Member she is committed to showcasing the broad scope and significance of the procurement profession and hopes to inspire young professionals to pursue fulfilling careers in procurement.

Koen van Wingerden

Koen van Wingerden holds a Bachelor degree in Logistics Management with a specialization in Procurement Management. After accomplishing his thesis regarding Supplier Relationship Management he rolled into the world of procurement and supply chain management.

Koen started his career as a Junior Buyer within the Central Procurement Department of Boskalis in which he got himself acquainted with the maritime sector and its suppliers. After working for one year as a Junior Buyer, Koen joined the Sourcing & Contract team as a Business Analyst and later on as a Lead Procurement Optimization. Within these rolls he is responsible for the optimization of procurement strategies, contracts and processes for various scopes of work (e.g. spare parts, services, external hire personnel and shipbuilding). Currently, Koen is working as a Category Manager for Stolt Tankers.

As a YPP Board Member he is committed to let young procurement professionals connect and share knowledge in order to further develop themselves within the field of procurement and supply chain management.

Bram Buurman

Currently, Bram works as a senior consultant at Kloepfel Benelux (part of EPSA Group) and is active in the manufacturing industry. Bram is eager to gain and share knowledge about our beautiful profession, and wants to see what more there is to know about procurement, apart from the manufacturing industry.

Fryse van Dijk

Fryse van Dijk is an expert negotiator. Part of his experience comes from 9 years of working, negotiating in particular, for a well-known Fortune 500 company. He has successfully negotiated strategically important, high-value contracts globally. During his career, he has lived in South Africa, the Netherlands and Denmark and now lives in the Netherlands, close to family and friends.

He is currently the Chief Negotiation Officer at Sound Negotiator. For those wondering, yes, that is a new title, and a role he believes should exist in most companies.

YPP provides an excellent platform for procurement professionals to engage with like-minded individuals. Our goal is to encourage knowledge sharing among members and organisations, for everyone’s benefit.
